MDP on Sericulture based Integrated farming organizes by SKUAST-K College of Sericulture

Srinagar, Oct 23: One week Management Development Training Programme (MDP) on “Sericulture Based Integrated Farming system for enhancing profitability and Employment” Sponsored by MSME was organised on Wednesday at College of Temperate Sericulture, SKUAST-K, Mirgund.
Thirty participants were registered for the programme. Dr S.F.Iqbal Qadri ( Coordinator) gave brief about the skill training programme At the outset Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Dar, Assistant Professor, welcomed the guests & the participants and deliberated upon the aims and objectives of the programme. Prof. Khursheed Ahmad Sahaf, Associate Dean, CoTS, Mirgund while inaugurating the programme impressed upon all the participants to actively participate in various training sessions of the programme and try to derive maximum benefit out of the programme.
He spoke in detail about the relevance of training programme keeping in view the advances made in the field of sericulture. Later on the students had a fruitful interaction with a scientists of CoTS wherein a good number of queries were answered amicably. At the end Dr. Masarat Bashir Assistant Professor DCCP presented vote of thanks.
