Srinagar Police on Sunday have summoned three individuals for questioning in connection with posting sectarian and inflammatory content on social media.
According to a police statement, legal proceedings against the accused are already in progress.
In a post on X, Srinagar Police wrote, “Apropos to the posting of sectarian and inflammatory content on social media, 03 individuals have been summoned for questioning, and appropriate legal proceedings are underway.”
“The public is urged to refrain from sharing or posting such material, as exacting legal action would be enforced against violators”, Police said.
