Ganderbal, June 12: Authorities have finalized all security arrangements to ensure the safety of devotees attending the Tullamulla Mela Kher Bhawani festival in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The police have implemented robust and foolproof measures to address any potential issues, with a particular focus on countering recent terror threats.
SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta, speaking to Rising Kashmir, said that the extensive security preparations made in light of recent terror attacks in the Jammu region. “We have made comprehensive security arrangements here, studying various factors and the modus operandi of terrorists very well,” Gupta stated.
Gupta assured pilgrims that their safety is the utmost priority. “We want to ensure that devotees feel no threat and can visit the Mata Kherbhawani temple without fear. Our security forces are fully prepared to safeguard their well-being,” he said.
In addition to the festival, SSP Gupta highlighted that all necessary arrangements are in place for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, set to commence later this month. The police are committed to ensuring a safe and secure pilgrimage for all attendees.
