Jammu, Apr 22: A cultural programme aimed at spreading awareness about SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) was organized on Monday by the Cultural Unit of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) at Government High School Chak Largan Bajalta in Jammu.
The event featured vibrant performances by artists from the Cultural Wing, as well as students and teachers from the school, who showcased their talent through songs and poems focused on voter awareness.
Addressing the gathering, the Headmaster of the school, Saroj Rajput, shared her insights on the importance of voter awareness and commended the DIPR for arranging such a culturally enriching program to educate students.
The event was attended by officials from the Information Department, school staff, and a large audience.
Ritu Raina, a teacher at the school, efficiently coordinated the programme.
Certificates were later presented to the participating students by the department as a token of appreciation.
The entire programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Cultural Officer Nasir Khan.
