Man dies, other two rescued after boat capsizes in Bandipora

A man died while two others accompanying him were rescued after they were drowned in Wullar Lake in Banyari area of North kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.

 

An official told Rising Kashmir that the three persons drowned in the Wular Lake in Banyari area of the Bandipora district. “Upon hearing about the incident, the rescue operation was immediately started to trace them,” he said. 

 

“However two of them were immediately rescued while as the body of third one identified as Javeed Ahmad Dar of Banyari was fished out from the lake. 

 

As the news spread in the area, a wave of grief and sorrow spread in the entire area and hundreds of people reached the house of the deceased man to express their condolence.
