Srinagar, June 27: A Kashmiri dental surgeon Dr Arif Ali Mir has brought laurels to the Union Territory as his case research, which he is currently practicing in Srinagar, has been published in the International Journal of Advanced Research.
It is a case of the Lower Molar Tooth (back tooth) which is having 8 root canals inside. This is one of the rarest things in human dentition and has been treated very professionally and sincerely by Dr Arif Ali Mir along with the incredible documentation.
His colleagues Dr Hysum Mushtaq (Government Dental College, Srinagar), Dr Geetika Sabharwal and Dr Imran Shaikh (Maharashtra) supported him during the publication.
Dr Arif is a General Dental Practioner and Diplomate in Endodontics. He graduated from Purvanchal Institute of Dental Science in 2020 and completed his Fellowship Course in Endodontics from Pune, Maharashtra. Currently, he works as Consultant Root Canal Specialist in J&K and has good experience in handling non-surgical root canal treatment.
Dr Mir is working on his mission to make a world-class multi-specialty Dental Hospital near Khan Sahib, Budgam which will serve great hospitality and humanity along with good treatment to the people of rural regions.
