Srinagar, 11 Feb: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Tuesday paid obeisance at the revered Ziyarat Sharief of Hazrat Ahmad Sahab Macham Sirhindi Abdaal (RA) at Sheri Bhat Alamgari Bazar in Srinagar.
Sadiq paid obeisance at the revered Shrine, offering prayers for lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He was bestowed with an honor by the Mujavireen of the holy shrine, who ceremoniously tied a symbolic turban around his head. Sadiq participated in the Mehfil-e-Durood and Azkar, embracing the spiritual atmosphere of the occasion. pParty’s local unit functionaries and office bearers were present on the occasion.
Tanvir engaged in conversations with the shrine management and devotees during the urs observance, gathering valuable information about the facilities provided.
He extended warm wishes to the devotees, highlighting the significant role of Sufis in shaping the cultural landscape of Kashmir.
Tanvir emphasised the profound impact of Hazrat Ahmad Sahib (RA) and his disciples, who not only spread the teachings of Islam but also enriched the language through their poetry.
Furthermore, Tanvir stressed the importance of following the path laid out by Sufis for the youth to attain spiritual and material success. He urged the younger generation to delve into the life and teachings of revered saints like Ahmad Sahib (RA) to gain wisdom and guidance.
