Srinagar, Jan 07: Chinmaya Foundation, a globally recognized organization promoting peace and harmony, is set to host its international ceremony with representatives from 72 countries. As part of this grand event, a list of 20 names for the “Personality of The Year Award – 2024” has been announced in the preliminary stage.
Among these distinguished individuals is Syed Nazakat Khaleefa, a budding journalist working as a reporter with Rising Kashmir Newspaper and Chairman of Pukaar Foundation in India.
Chinmaya Foundation continues its mission to foster humanism and cultural awakening worldwide.
Over the past four months, it has organized nine online contests under its International Rural Talent Search Mission, attracting 91,386 participants. These contests included a variety of events such as the Kuanar Punei Five Evening Flower House Competition with 3,724 participants, the Panchak Muruj Five-Day Competition with 28,535 participants, and the Rangoli Competition on Kali Puja Day with 1,372 participants. Other competitions like Sera Jhoti, Fine Art, Mehendi, as well as song, dance, and acting contests, saw significant participation as well.
The Personality Of The Year Award – 2024*will be presented during the foundation’s 13th annual friendship meeting and the birthday celebration of its founder, Dr. Chinmaya Dash, on January 26th. This event will also feature the announcement of the nine online competition results.
