Jammu, Nov 10: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K chief Manish Sahni on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kishtwar, which resulted in the killing of a para trooper and left four other soldiers injured. He demanded strong action against the terrorists responsible.
In a press release issued here, Sahni criticised the government’s response, saying that while the nation faces growing security threats, the government appears distracted by election campaigns. He said there have been a rising number of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in recent days, and questioned the effectiveness of the country’s intelligence systems.
“Instead of focusing on empty slogans like ‘baatenge to kaatenge’ and election campaigns, it’s time to teach a lesson to our enemies, particularly Pakistan, and show the terrorists the path to hell,” Sahni said.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said the sharp increase in terrorist activities in the region highlights the failure of intelligence agencies to prevent such attacks. “It seems that our intelligence systems have proven ineffective, while the country’s top ruling party leaders are busy with electioneering,” he added.
