Budgam, Oct 20: A stray dog mauled to death a 70-year- old man and left four others injured in Manchowa area of Budgam on Sunday.
An official told Rising Kashmir that the dog attacked the people during which four persons were injured. One of them identified as Khazir Mohammad Magrey, 70 years old, succumbed to his injuries.
“The other injured persons have been shifted to the hospital where they are being provided treatment,” officials said.
He said that the medical team, Municipal committee and revenue officials and police have also visited the spot. The area has been sanitised by the municipal committee team.
