Doda, May 14: Post Graduate Department of General Surgery of Government Medical college Doda, under the aegis of J&K State Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India, organised two day Surgical conference (SURGICON 2023) which concluded here on Sunday.
The two day SURGICON 2023 was organised to exchange knowledge and expertise among the surgical faculties across the country.
The event also provided an opportunity to introduce GMC Doda to the medical fraternity in rest of the country. It is believed that the conference will help to attract more faculty joining GMC Doda to tackle with the shortage of staff and eventually providing better health care facilities to people of Chenab valley.
Prof. Puja Vimesh, Principal GMC Doda expressed happiness and congratulated organising secretary Dr. Altaf Ahmed Malik for putting up a great show.
The Chairman JAKASI, Professor Sanjay Kumar Bhasin and the faculty from other parts of the country were also highly impressed with the work being done at GMC Doda.
