A road accident occurred near the Forest Checkpost in Gagangeer area of Gund in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district when an Alto vehicle bearing registration number JK16C-3386 skidded off the road and collided with side stones.
The accident left four passengers injured, who were immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Kullan for medical attention.
Out of the injured, two individuals—identified as Irfan Ahmad Thakrey (S/o Mohammad Qasim) and Sahil Ahmad Magray (S/o Manzoor Ahmed)—were referred to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) for advanced treatment due to the severity of their injuries.
They have been identified as Momin Ahmed Magray (S/o Noor Mohammad), Irfan Ahmad Thakrey (S/o Mohammad Qasim), Sameer Ahmed Shargojri (S/o Abdul Gaffar), Sahil Ahmad Magray (S/o Manzoor Ahmed) All the injured are residents of Cherwan, Kangan.
