Srinagar, Dec 17: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) district president Srinagar, Abdul Qayoum Bhat convened an important workers’ meeting for the Central Shalteng constituency on Tuesday.
The meeting, chaired by PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Aalam, focused on addressing basic issues in the constituency and reviewing preparations for the January 07 programme commemorating the death anniversary of party founder, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, a statement issued here said.
Several party leaders and senior workers participated in the meeting, including Dr Ali Mohammad, Arif Laigaroo, Bashir Ahmad Beigh, Sheikh Saba, Ali Mohammad Baba, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Aadil Amin, Farooq Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Hameed and other prominent members.
The meeting aimed to strengthen grassroots coordination, address developmental concerns, and mobilize efforts for the upcoming event to honour Mufti Sayeed’s legacy, the PDP said. Party leaders called for unity and dedication in addressing public grievances and advancing the PDP’s vision for the region.
