Urs attracted a large assembly of devotees, comprising men, women, and children, who flocked to the shrine at Charar-i-Sharief to engage in congregational prayers and pay their tributes.
Devotees also gathered at the shrine on Tuesday for congregational long night prayers. Special prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of the Kashmir valley.
Vendors established stalls offering a variety of food items and traditional merchandise, which were eagerly purchased by the attendees.
Masrat Jan, a devotee from Chadoora village, expressed that she has been participating in the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-uddin Wali (RA) for the past two years. She noted that individuals from various districts of the Kashmir valley have come to Charar-i-Sharief to honor the Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-uddin Wali (RA).

Sheikh Noor-uddin Wali (RA) is a Sufi saint in the Kashmir valley who spread Islam and composed poetry in the Kashmiri language, known as ‘Kalam Sheikh Ul Alam’,” Masrat said.
Special provisions were made for the devotees, including medical services, designated parking areas, wheelchairs for differently-abled attendees, and other essential amenities.
The Budgam police, in collaboration with the traffic police, were stationed on the roads to facilitate smooth traffic flow during the Annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Nurani (RA).
Additionally, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid his respects at the Ziyarat Sharief of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-uddin Wali (Nund Reshi) (RA) at Charar-I-Sharief.
