Rajouri, May 23: Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, S Manjit Singh continued his election campaign in favour of the party’s candidate for Rajouri–Anantnag Parliamentary seat, Zafar Iqbal Manhas.
In this regard, the former minister, accompanied by other leaders of the Party chaired several meetings in Nowshera in support of Zafar Iqbal Manhas.
During these meetings, the people extended their support to the Apni Party candidate, the party said in a statement issued here.
Expressing his gratitude to the people, Singh said the issues of development that remained unsolved for decades will be addressed by the party candidate, if he gets elected to the Parliament.
“The party has prepared a framework to undertake developmental activities and improve road infrastructure. The railway line projects need to be completed as early as possible,” he said. For this purpose, he expressed the commitment of the party that they would raise the issue with the Railway Ministry to get sanction for the timely completion of the railway line from Jammu to Poonch.
Singh also assured that the Apni Party will also work on addressing the increasing unemployment issue.
