MoS MSME Karandlaje calls for promoting entrepreneurship in J&K

Srinagar, July 08: Union Minister of State (MoS) for Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) & Labour and Employment, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje assessed the implementation of key initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and strengthening the workforce across Jammu & Kashmir.In a statement issued here, Minister gave direction to G Velladurai, IEDS Joint Director of MSME DFO Jammu & Kashmir for speedy implementation of Technology Centre proposed with a project cost of 185 Crores at Industrial Growth Centre, Samba with specific direction to contact her if any delay occurs in whatsoever way, among other directions.She has appreciated the functioning of KVIC with respect of PMEGP implementation in Jammu & Kashmir in which the Jammu & Kashmir ranked No.1 in the country. She has instructed the PA to note the reasons and best practices followed in Jammu & Kashmir for replicating in other parts of the country for which Jammu & Kashmir is the role model. Mr Rajesh Kumar Director, KVIC, J&K and Mr. Anil Kumar Deputy Director participated in the meeting.She gave direction to Dushyant Pande, Regional Director of ESIC to complete the construction of 100-bedded ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) Hospital at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Ompora, Budgam within next 30 thirty days in which the work has already completed up to 98% among other directions.She also gave directions to Suman Sindra Labour Enforcement officer regarding the enforcement of Labour laws and function of Labour court including timely disposal of grievances regarding the enforcement of Labour laws.She directed Vinay Kumar Regional PF Commissioner regarding the functioning and settlement of claims. No claim has to be remaining unsettled for whatsoever be the reasons other than acceptable documents lapse in the part of the employees. She instructed to leave no stone unturned in settlement of claims.
