J&K Team Selected to Represent UT at Senior National Carrom Championship in Delhi

Srinagar, March 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Team has been officially selected to represent the Union Territory in the 52nd Senior National Carrom Championship 2024-25, scheduled to be held from March 17 to 21 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. The championship is organised by the All India Carrom Federation and hosted by the Delhi Carrom Association.
The team was selected based on their performance in the recently conducted 4th J&K UT Level Carrom Championship 2024-25 at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar. The screening process was conducted at the same venue under the supervision of the Screening Committee members of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, which included—Akbar Khan – Member, J&K Sports Council, Dr. Burhan – Physiotherapist, J&K Sports Council. The Committee Members of J&K Carrom Association, include—Adil Rashid Shah – President, J&K Carrom Association and Joint Secretary (North), All India Carrom Federation and Mudasir Khan – General Secretary, J&K Carrom Association

3. Arsalan Mehraj
4. Adnan Inayat
5. Saleem Jan
6. Faisal Ahmad Wani
Women’s Team:
1. Anzalna Rafiq
2. Kazima Khursheed
3. Saniya Haffiz
4. Sabahat Shafi
Team Officials:
Mudasir Khan – Manager (Men’s Team)
Asra Shafi – Manager (Women’s Team)
Furthermore, Adil Rashid Shah, President of the J&K Carrom Association and Joint Secretary (North) All India Carrom Federation will represent Jammu & Kashmir in the Annual General Council Meeting of the All India Carrom Federation, scheduled to be held on March 22 in New Delhi. The Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association extends its best wishes to the selected players and officials for their participation in this prestigious national championship. The association remains committed to promoting carrom in the Union Territory and providing players with opportunities to showcase their talent at the national level.
