Baramulla, Nov 08: The Taekwondo Association of District Baramulla proudly announces the commencement of the 5th District Baramulla Taekwondo Championships 2024, held under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council. The championship takes place at the New JKSC Indoor Sports Complex, Khwajabagh Baramulla, from November 8 to 9, 2024.
This two-day event features participation from all zones and clubs within District Baramulla, including leading schools, showcasing the talent and dedication of local athletes. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Adv. Neelofar Masood, President of the Taekwondo Association of District Baramulla, as the Chief Guest, alongside Showkat Ahmad, Incharge Sports Stadium Khwajabagh Baramulla, who served as the Guest of Honor.
The championship has attracted 130 players from across the district, all vying for top honors in various taekwondo categories. This event not only highlights the skills of the participants but also aims to promote the sport within the community.
