Doda, Sep 22: UT level wrestling competition for boys was on Friday inaugurated by District Youth Services Sports Officer Doda Jaffer Haider Sheikh here in the indoor Sports Stadium Doda.
In all, 220 Players drawn from 9 J&K UT districts of Jammu, Udhampur, Samba, Doda, Kathua, Anantnag, Kishtwar, Rajouri and Reasi, are taking part in the wrestling competition.
The tournament is being held under the patronage of Subash Chander Chibber, Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, and Suram Chand Sharma, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu and under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Doda, Jaffar Haider Sheikh. Suresh Kumar Padha, ZPEO Doda shall act as overall in charge of the venue.
Out station wrestlers have been provided boarding and lodging facilities within the vicinity of Doda headquarters.
