Baramulla,  June  25: To assess the on-ground impact of the ongoing Information, Education & Communication (IEC) campaign under the Dharti Aabha Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Gh Rasool Mir today chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the District Administration Complex here.

The campaign, which spans from June 15 to June 30, 2025, focuses on ensuring 100 percent saturation of government welfare entitlements for the tribal population across the district.

The meeting saw participation from Joint Director Planning, ACD Baramulla and key officers from departments including ICDS, Agriculture, Horticulture, FCS&CA, Health, Education, Social Welfare, Revenue, NRLM, Labour, CSCs, and banking institutions.

These departments play a pivotal role in conducting awareness and benefit saturation camps, a core component of DAJGUA, aimed at providing tribal households with access to a full range of government schemes and services.

During the meeting, Chaudhary Mudasir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Baramulla and Nodal Officer for DAJGUA presented a detailed report on the status of IEC activities. He highlighted the achievements in tribal-dominated blocks, ongoing challenges, and steps being taken to improve service delivery in remote areas.

The briefing included updates on household level surveys, door-to-door awareness drives, community engagement through panchayats, and the role of Common Service Centres (CSCs) in delivering services.
