Baramulla, Sept 17: An elderly woman was killed while two scooty riders were injured in a tragic accident in Nadihal Rafiabad area of Baramulla on Sunday.
A police official said that an unidentified biker hit an elderly lady near Ziyarat Shareef in Nadihal village of Rafiabad, Baramulla.
The deceased was identified as Fatha Begum, wife of Mohammad Sultan War, of Nadihal.
Medical Superintendent of AHGMC Dr. Parvez Masoodi said that an elderly lady was brought dead who was hit by the motorcycle near Nadihal village of Baramulla.
“The two scooty riders, however, are in stable condition and out of immediate danger,” he said
He said that doctors are diligently observing their progress to ensure their well-being.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
