Ingredients needed
RiceFlour :1 kg
Walnut kernels: 250 grams
Salt: As per taste
Turmeric : 1/2 teaspoons
Oil: for frying
Preparation
In a pan, roast walnut kernels for 4 to 5 minutes. Take them out and let them cool down.
Take Luke warm water, add salt & turmeric into it and mix well.
Now Knead rice flour. At intervals, mix water little by little to make a soft dough.
Now add walnuts kernels to this dough and mix it well.
Now Cut the dough in to small balls.
Give the shape of a cup or a bowl, by rotating dough on your palm. Similarly make cup or boat shape to all dough balls.
Heat oil in a pan. But make sure oil should not be hot, it should be warm. Fry two or three pieces at a time. Fry it till golden brown.
Yaji is ready to serve.
