‘No Means No’: SMVDU organizes poster making competition on sexual harassment

Katra, Dec 12: National Service Scheme (NSS) and Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) SMVDU organized a poster-making competition on sexual harassment of women in the workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal, Act, 2013) with an aim to spread awareness and to stop discrimination against women. 
The theme of the poster-making competition was “No means No”, in which event 40 students participated who through their posters showed what is it like to face harassment in the workplace.
The event was conducted by the NSS volunteers. Dr. Sharada M. Potukuchi, Presiding Officer of the Internal Complaint Committee and Dr. Rajiv Kumar, NSS Programme Coordinator appreciated the efforts of the NSS team and emphasized the need for such programs.
