KVK Budgam holds training on water conservation

Srinagar, Nov 1: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam, SKUAST-Kashmir under Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA)-CTR 2022 organized a training program on water conservation and minimizing wastage of water for the farmers of the district.
During the programme, Dr Bilal Ahmad Lone, Sr Scientist and Head KVK Budgam discussed the important efforts for conservation, restoration and reuse of water in order to address water scarcity.
Dr Vaseem Yousuf, Scientist, Plant Protection, highlighted the importance of decreasing water pollution and rainwater harvesting in order to conserve the important resources. More than 50 farmers participated in the training.
