Magisterial inquiry ordered in Chadoora fire incident

Budgam, Oct 24: The Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, Syed Fakhruddin Hamid has ordered a magisterial inquiry into a fire incident that occurred at a shopping complex in the main Chadoora tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday evening.
The deputy commissioner along with the other officials from the civil administration and police department visited the spot where this fire incident occurred.
While talking to the reporters, DC told the reporters that it was unfortunate that the fire incident took place in the area, but no loss of life or injury had taken place in that incident.
“A magisterial inquiry will be conducted into this fire incident. So that actual cause of the fire could be known properly, “DC said.
He said that shopkeepers and commercial establishments should install fire extinguishers so that such incidents can be averted and.
He said that people should take precautions in their homes as well as in commercial establishments as winter is approaching.
