Kargil, May 21: Kargil’s Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Santosh Sukhadeve, ensured a smooth and transparent conduct of the OMR-based 12th level examination conducted by the Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB). Several examination centres were inspected by the Deputy Commissioner, who also serves as the chairman of the KSSRB.
During the inspection, DC Santosh visited the Conference Hall in Baroo, as well as the Munshi Habibullah Mission Higher Secondary School and other designated examination centres. CCTV cameras were installed at each centre, along with backup facilities, to maintain a fair examination process.
To facilitate the seamless conduct of the examination, the District Administration Kargil assigned the responsibilities of superintendent, deputy superintendent, and other relevant officers from different departments.
With all the necessary arrangements in place, the examination was successfully conducted in morning and afternoon shifts, employing different paper sets across all examination centres in the district.
Following the completion of the second session, the Deputy Commissioner engaged in discussions with observers and supervisory staff at the District Employment and Counseling Center Kargil. He expressed the intention to release the answer key for all three categories of the examination after the completion of the Matric Level examination. In cases of misprints or issues with any question, grace marks would be awarded.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the District Administration’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
Iftakhar Naseem, Deputy Director Employment and Secretary of the KSSRB, shared that a total of 11,389 candidates, including candidates from Zanskar Sub Division, were scheduled to appear for the examination. Approximately 80 percent of the candidates appeared at the 31 designated exam centres across the district.
Overall, the successful conduct of the 12th level examination by the Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board reflects the district administration’s efforts to ensure a transparent and fair selection process for aspiring candidates.
