Srinagar, May 22: Abhijeet Patil, Chairman of Raja Rani Travels lauded the 3rd G-20 tourism Summit for not only shining a spotlight on the region’s burgeoning global recognition but also for delivering a resounding message that Kashmir is a secure destination for film production.
Patil expressed his sanguinity regarding the event’s profound impact on Kashmir’s film industry, highlighting the newfound sense of inclusiveness experienced by the people.
“As the G20 meeting took place in Kashmir, a powerful message resonated that the region is not only safe but also a coveted location for shooting films. This revelation bolsters the local populace, instilling pride and fostering a spirit of unity and participation,” Patil added.
The G20 Tourism Working Group meeting, he said, extends beyond discussions on sustainable tourism strategies; it also opens doors of opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
He further said the event serves as a platform for these entities to showcase their offerings to the delegates, forging valuable connections and paving the way for future collaborations. This not only benefits the individuals involved but also contributes to the overall economic growth of Kashmir.
“Kashmir’s awe-inspiring landscapes and rich cultural heritage take center stage during the event, captivating the delegates and offering them a glimpse of the region’s immense potential as a film shooting location. The melding of picturesque vistas and profound cultural experiences creates a unique tapestry that has the power to enthrall filmmakers from around the world,” Patil maintained.
Hosting of the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting in Kashmir, he said has kindled a wave of positivity, fostering inclusiveness among the locals and firmly establishing Kashmir as a safe and inviting destination for film production. “Beyond that, the event has provided a platform for local businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive while showcasing the region’s remarkable beauty and cultural richness to a global audience. This convergence of factors paints a bright future for Kashmir’s film industry and reinforces its position on the global tourism map.”
