Srinagar, April 26: The District Youth Services and Sports Office Ganderbal, under the supervision of Sheikh Shafqat Iqbal DYSSO Ganderbal Saturday organised the Inter Zone District Level Volleyball Competition for Boys and Girls U-17 years at the Government College of Physical Education Gadoora, Ganderbal.
Teams from all four Zones of the district participated with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. During his visit, DYSSO Ganderbal interacted with the student players, emphasising the importance of maintaining physical fitness and adopting a healthy lifestyle through regular sports activities. He encouraged the young athletes to remain committed to sports for their overall personality development. Later, Shafqat Iqbal felicitated the winner and runner-up teams with trophies. Zone Tullamulla showcased exceptional performance and clinched the titles in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, while Zone Ganderbal secured the runner-up position in both events. Meanwhile, Inter School Zonal Level competitions are being held actively across various Zones of the district.
