GV Sundeep Chakravarthy takes charge as SSP Sgr

Srinagar, April 21: GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, officially assumed charge as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar on Monday.
Upon his arrival at the SSP Office, Chakravarthy was welcomed by outgoing SSP Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, , along with other senior officers. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, followed by a formal handover ceremony during which Mir handed over the charge to his successor.
Shortly after assuming office, Chakravarthy convened an introductory meeting with district police officers. During the interaction, he emphasised the importance of professionalism, dedication, and proactive policing. He urged officers to remain committed to public service and to address community concerns with sincerity and efficiency. The officers assured their full cooperation and pledged to work collaboratively under his leadership to ensure peace and strengthen public trust in the police. (KNS)
