MLA Lal Chowk inaugurates bus service to Zewan, other areas

Srinagar, Feb 19: National Conference (NC) Provincial Vice President and MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi on Wednesday visited Gujar Basti Khanmouh.
This marked the first time a legislator had visited the area. “I made a solemn promise to the people of Gujar Basti that I would listen to their concerns and work towards transformative progress. Today, I am here to fulfill that pledge,” Pardesi said, according to a party statement issued here. He was accompanied by NC functionaries from the Lal Chowk constituency.
Later in the day, Pardesi inaugurated bus services to areas including Zewan, Zawoora, Zaffron Colony, and Balhama in Khanmouh. The locals praised him for providing essential bus services, which will greatly benefit the locals, the statement said.
During the event, the MLA Lal Chowk said the bus services will significantly alleviate the commuting challenges faced by the people.
