Parents, school principals visit NCC training camp in Pulwama

Srinagar, Oct17: NCC Group Srinagar Monday organized a special visit of parents and School Principals of children attending the ongoing NCC camp at CTC Lethpora, Pulwama. The Chief Education Officers of all four districts of the region were also invited to the event.
The invited guests were warmly welcomed by cadets and Col Deepak Bhatt AO 1 J&K NCC Bn briefed them about the camp and the activities being conducted. Subsequently, the cadets proudly showcased the training skills learnt during the eight day camp which included drill, weapon training and personality development.
The cadets also gave out a group song. Brig KS Kalsi, Group Commander NCC Group Srinagar, addressed the invitees and urged them to spread the message to their respective schools about the benefits of NCC so that more and more youth can benefit from the initiative.
He also said due to the positive response from cadets and parents more NCC camps would be conducted in South Kashmir so as to benefit cadets from all districts of the region.The invitees were highly appreciative of the camp and assured maximum support to all future NCC activities.
