Srinagar, Oct 09: Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, Secretary General of International Centre for Peace Studies (ICPS) and BJP leader Sunday attended Kashmir Conference titled ‘Kashmir issue, Terrorism and Human Rights’held at conference centre NVY Switzerland through on-line mode.
The said conference was organised by the Interfaith International and International Centre against Terrorism.The event was hybrid event in which participants from Washington and India joined remotely.
According to a statement, Sheikh Khalid stressed on the cross-border terrorism and how the normal life of Kashmiris iseffected by sponsored terror.
The international community including human rights organisations and the OIC office of Islamic Countries should take immediate note of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), which continues support to proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir by aiding and abetting terrorism through terrorist outfits including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM), and HizbulMujahideen (HM),he said.
The conference was attended by Dr Charles Graves, Dewara Secretary General, ICAT, Showkat Kashmiri, MunirMengal, President Baloch Voice Foundation, LakhuLuhana, secretary World Sindh Congress.
