Srinagar, Sep 01: Two students of Army Goodwill School in Bandipora, a border district of north Kashmir, have brought laurels to their frontier town by excelling in the UT Level chess championship held recently at Srinagar.
Muhammad of Army Goodwill School, Bandipora, won the third position in the championship. Fatima, a student of the same school, surpassed all expectations and ranked number one in the chess championship.
Fatima is sharp in studies and loves drawing, while Muhammad loves sports. Both these students will now participate in the National Chess Championship.
