Srinagar, April 09: The department of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks is Wednesday announced that the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Srinagar has surpassed last year’s record footfall of 4,46,154 visitors—within just 15 days of the ongoing Tulip Show-2025.

An official statement said that this remarkable achievement marks a new milestone for Asia’s largest tulip garden, which currently features 1.7 million tulip bulbs across 74 vibrant varieties. “With several days of the show remaining, the garden is on track to achieve an unprecedented visitor turnout,” the statement said. “This surge in footfall highlights the garden’s growing global appeal and its key role in promoting tourism and showcasing the natural splendour of Jammu and Kashmir.”
