Jammu, Dec 12: Hours before the launch of Besharam Rang, the first song of his upcoming movie Pathan, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan visited Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu’s Katra town to pay obeisance to Goddess Durga on Sunday night.
Earlier this month, he was spotted in Saudi Arabia, where the superstar performed Umrah in the holy city of Mecca.
Accompanied by his friends, Khan reached Katra late on Sunday night. He stayed in a hotel for a while and later headed towards Ardhkuwari temple in a vehicle through Tarkota Marg.
To mention, Tarkota Marg is a new route to Ardhkuwari temple made through Trikuta Hills where pilgrims can avail the facility of vehicles unlike the ancient Katra-Ardhkuwari route where pilgrims can only walk or hire ponies or horses to reach Ardhkuwari shrine.
Spotted wearing a black jacket and a face mask, Shah Rukh Khan reached Bhawan, the abode of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, in a battery car at around 11: 35 pm on Sunday.
Covered by a posse of security personnel, Shah Rukh Khan also walked the Katra-Bhawan track with other pilgrims and clicked selfies with them.
After performing Darshan at the holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi in Bhawan area, Shah Rukh Khan reached Katra town on Sunday night itself and left the holy city on Monday.
