Srinagar, March 5: As a lead taker in the innovation and startup arena of Kashmir, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir launched four new student and faculty startups in an event held during the two-day farm mela at Shalimar campus.
Advisor to Lt Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, inaugurated the startups in the presence of Mayor Srinagar Junaid Mattu, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai and other guests present at the occasion The startups, incubated by SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre, are Kashmin Innovations Pvt Ltd, SeriKon Innovations Pvt Ltd, BB&GG and ZeebaBiotec.
These new startups have been mentored and nurtured by SKIIE Centre & IDP NAHEP Team of the university.
The ceremony was coordinated by team IDP Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell led by Prof Azmat Alam Khan, OSD to VC and Co-PI NAHEP, SKUAST-K.
These startups have received seed money from BIRAAC BIG and other renowned organisations in the country.
