Katra, May 16: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha graced the ShrimadBhagavat Katha by PujyaBhaishriRameshbhaiOzaJi at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre in Katra.
In his address, the Lt Governor emphasized the importance of Shravan, Manan, and Nidhidhyasan – the three pillars of vedantic practice – to incorporate the teachings of the Guru into daily life and foster unity in society.
Highlighting the significance of leading a righteous life, Lt Governor Sinha stated, “Righteous life is the only path to attain spiritual growth and awaken our own divinity.” He urged devotees to become messengers of Bhagavat’s message, promoting equality, brotherhood, humanity, and harmony in society.
Commending the significant contributions of PujyaBhaishriRameshbhaiOzaJi in education, social welfare, and upliftment of the deprived sections, the Lt Governor remarked, “PujyaBhaishri is not only a spiritual leader but also a celebrated educationist and humanitarian.” He praised BhaishriJi’s dedication to holistic development through education based on human values.
Speaking further, Lt Governor Sinha highlighted the establishment of education campuses in Gujarat under the motto “Vidya, Vivek, Vikas” by PujyaBhaishri. He mentioned DevkaVidyapeeth for girl-child education and SandipaniGurukul, VidyaSankul, offering modern education rooted in Indian culture.
In a special invitation, the Lt Governor invited devotees of Baba Barfani from India and abroad for the holy yatra of ShriAmarnathJi, commencing on June 29, 2024.
The event saw the presence of Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu; Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu; AnshulGarg, CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Vishesh Paul Mahajan, Deputy Commissioner Reasi, members of VaishvikSanskrutiParivar, and senior officials from SMVDSB, Civil, and Police administration, along with devotees from various parts of the country.
