The universal truth is that teaching is a profession that is the mother of all other professions
To begin with — the prime purpose of celebrating Teachers Day is to honor, respect and value the efforts of teachers — who work tirelessly in nation building through revolutionizing education and creating a positive impact in the lives of students. The Day holds a very crucial importance in the life of every student to realize the value of their teachers — to pay them homage for the great job they are doing for humanity and social development.
While teachers are the real oceans of knowledge and wisdom — they serve as source of enlightenment and success in our lives. They indeed play a pivotal role in building our careers and realizing our dreams and aspirations.
Being originally a doctor by profession — I would feel emulated, honored, enlightened, privileged, passionate and victorious being an educator/teacher. Also, while communicating with a patient, I believe that a doctor should be a good educator first to effectively educate the patient. Having said that — passion, enthusiasm, perseverance and dedication — are the driving motivations for a teacher in impacting millions of students.
Infact the universal truth is that teaching is a profession that is the mother of all other professions. Whatever we achieve in our professions, we strongly believe that teachers form a cornerstone for that achievement.
Moreover, effective teaching-learning process involves developing a positive teacher-student relationship — which has a great impact on student’s life in achieving all educational dimensions – academic, moral, social, ethical, mental, emotional and intellectual.
More to say, mutual respect, trust and understanding are important to strengthen a teacher-student relationship. Teachers can easily win the hearts of their students and students are most likely to respect, listen to and obey their teachers, if both engage and connect positively with each other.
