Jammu, Sept 09: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) reaffirmed its commitment to secularism, brotherhood, and the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a significant function organized by Tejinder Singh, District President of the NC Youth Wing (Jammu Urban District), dozens of enthusiastic youth joined the party in the presence of dynamic youth leaders Zahir Abdullah and Zamir Abdullah at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of JKNC, was the chief guest at the event and welcomed the new members into the party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, the senior NC leader Rattan Lal strongly condemned the statement of BJP leader, accusing the National Conference of attempting to revive terrorism through its manifesto. He termed these allegations as baseless and an attempt to divert attention from the real issues.
“National Conference has always stood for peace, secularism, and democracy. We have sacrificed hundreds of our party workers to keep democracy alive in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding that the NC manifesto is a commitment to the development and prosperity of the region, while the BJP’s manifesto is nothing but a bundle of lies designed to mislead the public.
