Srinagar, 30 Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday in his monthly radio address to nation ‘Mann Ki Baat’, praised a Srinagar resident Manzoor Ahmad Lehwal for installing Solar rooftop plant, and cutting his power expenditure to more than half.
Addressing the nation in his Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio Sunday morning, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned Manzoor Ahmed Larhwal from Srinagar who had installed a Solar Rooftop Plant at his house, which has reduced his electricity expenditure to less than half.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India has become one of the biggest countries to generate electricity from solar energy.
The whole world is looking at solar energy as the future,Prime Minister said.
