Kargil, Dec 14: In a proactive move to enhance winter coaching facilities for class 10th and 12th students, Chairman/CEC of LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, led a comprehensive meeting at the Conference Hall in Kargil. The gathering included Executive Councilors, Directors, and Principals, focusing on optimizing hostel amenities and strategies for winter classes during the vacation period.
Key outcomes of the meeting include the consideration of day boarding classes as a response to the challenging winters, with a pilot project introducing optional day and night boarding at selected schools. CEC Dr Jaffer emphasized the importance of prioritizing syllabus completion and revision, ensuring no compromise on results. Notably, winter classes for class 10th and 12th will persist without a break, reflecting the commitment to students’ academic success.
Earned leaves and incentives for employees, including contractual staff, were also addressed, highlighting a holistic approach to support both students and teaching staff. The CEC underscored the moral responsibility of guiding society and recognized the pivotal role teachers play in fulfilling this duty. The initiatives aim to prepare students effectively for upcoming February examinations, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience even in the face of challenging weather conditions.
