Srinagar, Jan 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has scheduled the affiliation committee meeting for January 29, 2024.
A circular has been issued regarding the submission of extension case files by private academic institutions in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir whose affiliations expired in previous academic sessions.
According to an official circular from Joint Director General KD / JD, all Heads of Private High and Higher Secondary Schools in the UT of J&K are notified about the UT-level Affiliation Committee meeting on January 29, 2024. The concerned academic institutions, whose affiliations expired in the previous academic sessions and whose extension case files were previously rejected for various reasons, are given an opportunity to submit their extension case files with the required NOCs/Safety Certificates and prescribed affiliation fee.
The submission must be made by January 24, 2024, through the official website www.jkbose.nic.in. This will enable the Board to proceed with further legitimate processes as per rules.
However, according to the circular, incomplete submission/documentation by the concerned academic institutions will make them ineligible for the grant/release of Board-related facilities for the current academic session (2023-2024), and JKBOSE reserves the right to proceed accordingly.
