Hajj-2025: DC Sgr extends greetings to pilgrims, wishes them safe, secure journey

Srinagar, May 04: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Sunday visited Bait-ul-Hujaj (Haj House) Bemina where first batch of Hajj Pilgrims left in buses for Srinagar International Airport to embark on sacred journey to Saudi Arabia.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Srinagar, Sandeep Chakravarthy, Vice Chairman J&KHaj Committee, Talib Hussain, Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee, Dr. Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, Haj Officer Irshad Ahmad, members of Haj Committee and other concerned were present on the occasion to see-off the Haj pilgrims.
Interacting with the Pilgrims, the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar congratulated them for getting the opportunity to perform Hajj. DC along with SSP Srinagar also welcomed the Pilgrims with flower petals and also wished them safe and secure pilgrimage. They appealed to the pilgrims to pray for lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and wellbeing of the people during their sacred pilgrimage.
