Srinagar, Dec 07: Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, UT J & K and Ladakh, Rizwan Uddin is on three days visit to Srinagar. The Regional P. F. Commissioner visited EPFO, Regional Office, Srinagar on Wednesday and redressed the problems of the stakeholders who has visited in the Office.
Nazir Ahmad Dar submitted the joint declaration forms for correction in DOB from 02/01/1959 to 02/01/1970. The Regional P. F. Commissioner-I has given approval to correct the Date of Birth and joint declaration were processed immediately.
Another member Tajamulislam visited Office of RO Srinagar along with joint declaration form for updation of his father name in members profile. The same was updated accordingly.
EPFOis servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, and facilitating stakeholders and so on. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration.
Later in the evening, P F Commissioner attended a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir regarding Land for construction of Central Government Secretariat and Civil Service Officers institute.
