Future of Asia Cup to be decided after IPL 2023 final: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah on Thursday said that discussions will be held regarding the future of Asia Cup 2023. Last year, Shah announced that India will not travel to play Asia Cup 2023 which is being hosted by Pakistan.

Along with this Shah also announced that the presidents of Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka Cricket Boards will be present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad for the IPL-2023 final scheduled on May 28. “The respective presidents of the Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka Cricket Boards will grace the Tata IPL 2023 final to be held on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. We will hold discussions with them for outlining the future course of action in relation to Asia Cup 2023,” BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said.(ANI)
