Leapard is captured alive by the Department of wildlife on Thursday afternoon near Govt middle school Pazwalpora area of Rafiabad North kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official from wildlife said that a leapord was supported by locals on a tree near Govt middle school Pazwalpora.
He said that the leapord was roaming around the area from past few days.
However ” Soon after getting information it was captured without any damage or injury to any one”He said.
In addition a police party led by Dysp Rohit Verma (PS Dangiwacha)and Tehsildar Dangiwacha Sajad Rasool also reached the spot .
Earlier leapord attacked and injured some sheep in the area.
Wildlife department appeals masses to remain in the localities and dont visit forests.
