Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress appoints Chairman Mobilization, Transport Committees

 Banihal Jan 03: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Vikar Rasool Wani Wednesday appointed Senior Party Leaders as Chairman Mobilization and Transport Committees for upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra in various segments of Banihal, with immediate effect.
JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani who interacted with DDC Members, BDC Chairmen and prominent workers of Banihal expressed great satisfaction over the preparations being made for upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra, urging the party cadres to work hard to ensure smooth conduct of the Yatra, besides ensuring peoples’ participation at large scale in their respective segments.
According to the party statement, Wani after holding threadbare discussions with party workers appointed Chairman Mobilization and Transport Committee for various segments in Banihal.
DDC Member and senior leader Imtiyaz Ahmad Khanday was appointed for Banihal, DDC member Bashir Ahmad Naik for Neil, Shafeeq Ahmad Katoch BDC Chairman  for Ramsu, Karleep Singh Bali BDC Chairman for Ukhral and Ab.Rashid Manhas for Khari.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Khanday is also a member of the State Transport Committee for Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Wani expressed confidence that the Bharat Jodo Yatra will receive overwhelming response from people of J&K, who are aware of the significance of the Yatra and the endeavors of Congress Party to protect the democratic institutions whose authority is being undermined by the present dispensation at Centre aiming to remain in power.
The Congress Party shall continue to fight for people’s rights and ensure justice to them, JKPCC Chief added.
