Terrorists shot dead a person from Amritsar of Punjab and injured other at Shaheed Gunj area of Srinagar district on Wednesday evening, Police said.
A Police spokesperson said, “Terrorists fired upon a non-local identified as Amritpal Singh resident of Amritsar at Shaheed Gunj Srinagar, who succumbed to the injuries.”
” One more person is grievously injured and evacuated for medical attention. Area has been cordoned off. Further details shall follow”, he said
A health official said that one bullet-injured person has been identified as Rohit, aged 27, son of Prem Mashi, resident of Punjab. He was brought to SMHS with a bullet wound in his left abdomen.
