Ladakh Taekwondo team won trophy in Poomsae at Junior National Taekwondo Championship

Kargil, Jan 31:  Ladakh Taekwondo team won trophy in Poomsae at Junior National Taekwondo ChampionshipLAHDC Kargil CEC Congratulated Team Ladakh.
The Ladakh Taekwondo Team won the overall Winner Trophy in Poomsae Category in the recently concluded 39th Junior National Kyourugi/Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2023.
The championship was organized by Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) at Bareilly UP.
Sonam Chospal won Gold in Male Individual Poomsae, in Male Group Poomsae Sonam Chospal, Zeeshan Mehdi and Feroz Ahmad won Gold, Zeeshan Mehdi and NaziraBanoo won Gold Medal in Pair.
Meanwhile Shanaz Batool, Rehana Batool and AsiyaBanoo won Bronze in Junior Female group and Arbaz Khan won Bronze medal in U- 59 and Rehana Batool won Bronze Medal in U-49. 
The team was led by NIS and Senior Coach Zaheer Abass Khan and thanked the support by the Youth Services and Sports Department UT Ladakh.
Anayat Ali General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association appreciated the performance of the team and welcomed the result by the team.
Despite of all problems and issues the team participated in the National Championship and came out as the overall champion.
He thanked Sports Department UT Ladakh led by Ravinder Kumar for helping the association to establish properly with a great team and assured that his team will come up with more such results in future.
CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan Congratulated the Team and appreciated each and every player of the team for such a brilliant result. He further said that there will be a proper facilitation for the team by LAHDC Kargil once they reach back.
