Srinagar, Aug  10: The Chinar Book Festival at SKICC Srinagar drew to a close Sunday with an inspiring short play, Education for All, leaving the audience deeply moved and reflective.
According to a statement issued here, featuring stellar performances by Shaikh Mushtaq, Shabbeer Hakak, and Hilal Khan, the play delivered a powerful message on the universal right to education. Backed by the dedicated efforts of Zubair Farooq, Shahid Mushtaq, Abdul Basit, and Burhan Nazeer, the production ran flawlessly under the skilled management of M. Shafi Khan.
The audience comprising students, teachers, book lovers, and community members—responded with resounding applause, praising both the creative storytelling and the festival’s commitment to social awareness. Many described the performance as the highlight of the event.
The Chinar Book Festival, known for blending literary celebration with thought-provoking content, found its perfect closing note in Education for All, igniting conversations about equal access to learning and the role of education in shaping a better tomorrow.
